Acupressure is an alternative medicine technique based on traditional Chinese medicine. Establsihed by Michael Reed Gach, acupressure is gaining in popularity among various groups of population. Acupressure (a blend of "acupuncture" and "pressure") is an alternative medicine technique derived from acupuncture. In acupressure physical pressure is applied to acupuncture points by the hand, elbow, or with various devices. There are literally hundreds of acupressure points on the body. Many of them you can massage yourself. You can use your fingers, palms, elbows or feet to apply various stimulation techniques to acupressure points on the body's meridians. In addition to relieving nausea, there are multiple reports that the stimulation of acupressure points helps reduce stress, improve energy levels, and relieve pain.
Acupressure is the same as Acupuncture, where needles are not used. Pressure is being applied by finger tips, or using some instruments like Jimmy etc. Meridian points are the same in Acupuncture and Acupressure.
